Catching Critters
My brother and I caught a horny toad lizard. They are very cooooooooooooooooooool. We also caught a gopher snake and a blue belly lizard. While we were on a walk my sister said "shush" and we heard a rustling in the bushes. Then we saw a toad. It was huge and very fat. When we arrived at the ranch we hung a hummingbird feeder outside of our front door. Now all day long hummingbirds come and drink. It's awesome to see them "hover".

Andrew's Post
The first thing I did on this trip was go to Tennessee and meet one of my best friends, Micah. We had a lot of fun. Later on in my trip I stayed at my Grandma and Grandpa Whitted's house in Arizona. We had a lot of fun playing at their pool. We went to our favorite restaurant in Phoenix called Floridinos. I love their foot long calzones! Then we continued on to California. While driving there, our car broke down, so we had to get into Uncle Vern's truck. When we got to Uncle Vern and Aunt Patty's house we got to ride horses and go on hikes. It was very fun. Andrew

Zach's Post
The first thing I did on the trip was meet my friend Micah in Knoxville, Tennessee. We stayed in a really nice hotel, it had a cool swimming pool. Both of the days we were there we went swimming.
We ate at a restaurant right by the hotel.
Later we drove to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We met one of my dad's principals. We went to the Balloon Fiesta! I got some cool pictures of the balloons, we even got some of a road runner! Zach

Our Road Trip!
Our cross-country road trip down to Mexico was so much fun!! :) We had lots of opportunities to do all sorts of different things. One thing that I was able to do was see one of my best friends who had moved to South Carolina over the summer. We met her family at a hotel in Tennessee. We had an awesome time swimming in the hotel pool. Another opportunity we had was to see the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. There were soooooooooooo many balloons. One of my favorites was this heart balloon.
On our way to San Diego, our cars had some trouble. Because of this, we had to stay longer at Uncle Vern and Aunt Patty's house. This gave me the chance to ride one of Aunt Patty's eight horses in a small competition. Rosie and I competed in two events, barrels and poles. It was awesome!! :D Competing in the horse competition was probably my favorite thing on this road trip! Kailey :)

We have arrived at Rancho Sordo Mudo!
We have arrived! Our van is still in California (it needs a new transmission), but the Subaru and Uncle Vern got us down to Mexico. We are trying to decide what to do with our van, so please pray for us. It doesn't look like it will be a cheap and easy fix. We will let you know more as things happen. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for us. We REALLY appreciate it! Take care.

Stuck in California!
Well, the adventure never ends! My Subaru started leaking oil from the oil pan right after we came into Arizona. There are a couple of holes in the oil pan that are from rust spots. They are leaking maybe a 1/3 to 1/2 of a quart of oil per day. So, I was able to drive it to California. Our Honda Odyssey minivan started leaking a bunch of transmission fluid about 30 miles from some friends of ours in the San Diego area. We had to leave it on the side of the highway and come back later with "Uncle" Vern's car trailer and Ford Truck and tow it up to his house. We will start working on them tomorrow. Hopefully, we will be able to remedy the situations with God's help! Thanks for praying.
